Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy is a private, Christian home-study school based at Faith Temple in Sulphur, LA. We are not credentialed by the State of Louisiana, however, our curriculum meets and exceeds state requirements. What this means for you is that your child will receive an elite education preparing them to receive TOPS and other academic scholarships and attend colleges and universities around the nation - all without the stress of standardized test scores, woke acceptance, or stifled educators.
For the 2025-26 school we'll offer grades K4-6 with plans to grow through 12th grade by 2030.
Hello, and welcome. I am so humbled and excited to be a part of this new chapter for Sulphur, LA. My family has served the area as Pastors of Faith Temple for almost a decade. Since joining Faith Temple we have envisioned expanding our ministry and offering an academic solution that meets a very specific need for quality academics with a Christ-centered focus.
Along with my husband, we have five beautiful children (ranging from preschool to college) and a sweet doodle named Paul Harvey. My other hats include the ministry role of Pastor's wife, teaching our "Adulting" Sunday school class, and leading our fantastic worship team. Ministry is our focus. Making disciples is our passion.
That is our why for creating Legacy Prep. We MUST expand our ministry to younger hearts and minds if the Great Commission will survive another generation. Faith Temple has long established a reputation for excellence. Now we join the vision and continue the legacy.
